The Prime Minister of Georgia at Yad Vashem

The Prime Minister of Georgia H.E. Mr Giorgi Kvirikashvili, visited last July 24, 2017, at Yad Vashem.

He toured the Holocaust History Museum, participated in a Memorial Ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, and visited the Children’s Memorial. The visit concluded with the signing of the Yad Vashem Guest Book.

Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority, is located in Jerusalem, it is dedicated to Holocaust remembrance, documentation, research and education.

As the Jewish people’s living memorial to the Holocaust, Yad Vashem safeguards the memory of the past and imparts its meaning for future generations. Established in 1953, as the world center for documentation, research, education and commemoration of the Holocaust, Yad Vashem is today a dynamic and vital place of intergenerational and international encounter.
