JOVELLA 2011 is Israel’s 8th international jewelry and diamond exhibition and will be held July 5 – 6, 2011 in Tel Aviv.

Registration is now open for the exhibition, which is the leading event of the jewelry industry in Israel. JOVELLA 2001 is organized by the Stier Group, with the sponsorship of the Israel Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI), the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, the Israel Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association, and the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce.

JOVELLA 2011 will include about 200 exhibitors from Israel and abroad, showing loose diamonds, gold jewelry, gold set with diamonds or precious stones, silver jewelry, and fashion jewelry.

This year’s show boasts some new and special features:

  • An IDI – sponsored Diamond Pavilion, where Israeli Diamond Industry members will be able to exhibit loose diamonds and diamond jewelry.
  • A special hall devoted to Judaica and religious ceremonial art and jewelry, for which Israel is well known.
  • A special section of young Israeli jewelry designers showing original gold, silver and diamond jewelry.

Last year’s show included over 150 expositors and was visited by 12,000 jewelry professionals and buyers.

Israel’s jewelry is renowned for its creative designs and excellent quality. Israel exports jewelry to the United States, Russia, the UK, Hong Kong, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Spain, France, and Japan as well as other locations around the world.

  1. Terrific, this information is exactly what I was searching for.

  2. I really loved this post. You describe this topic very well. Owning a diamond is capturing a piece of history. The diamond is over three billion years in age, formed in the earth’s interior and shot to the surface by extraordinary volcanoes. It is carbon in concentrated form, composed solely of carbon — the chemical element fundamental to all life. A diamond is a natural element full of passion and brilliance. Clarity begins at Flawless and works its way down to I3 (Included 3). All clarity grades are graded under a microscope at 10x. Clarity is the amount of features or inclusions you can see in a diamond. Obviously if a diamond is Flawless, you won’t see any inclusions under a microscope. The further down you go on the clarity scale the more apparent the inclusions become under a microscope or to your eye. This does not mean that everyone should purchase a Flawless diamond; in fact I don’t recommend buying a diamond close to the flawless grade.
