Destination India event on future of India-Israel trade relations at TAU
Israel and India have many things in common. With the purpose of strengthen their international relationships an event focusing on the future of India-Israel trade relations will be held next week at Tel Aviv University.
The event, Destination India, includes a panel discussion covering trade relations, the financial sector, venture capital and business culture. Panelists include Ms. Vani Rao (Head of the Commercial Section, Indian Embassy, Israel), Mr. A. Purushothaman(CEO, State Bank of India, Tel Aviv), Mr. Eli Belotsercovsky (Director, Economic Relations with India & China, Economic Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and Ms. Anat Bernstein-Reich (Chairperson, Israel-India and Nepal Chamber of Commerce).
Panelists will discuss the Israel-India business and trade relationship in this 20th anniversary year of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and look at what the future holds. Discussion topics include the Indian financial sector and opportunities for venture capital, Indian business culture, growth sectors in India (including agritech, cleantech and biotech).
The event is being coordinated and chaired by Israel Asia Leaders Fellow, Dr. Vasudheva Reddy Akepati.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Israel-Asia Center and the Sofaer International MBA Program at Tel Aviv University. The event will take place on Wednesday, January 25, 4.30p.m. – 6.30 p.m. at theRecanati Business School, Tel Aviv University.
