Countdown to 11.11.11 – Will the Dead Sea become one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature?

On Sunday, October 16th at 18:00, will be held at the Azrieli Towers in Tel Aviv, Israel, the official inauguration ceremony to encourage votes for the Dead Sea as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Attending the ceremony will be President of the State of Israel, Shimon Peres, and Minister of Tourism, Stas Misezhnikov as well as senior Israeli business leaders.
The highlight of the event includes the lighting of a giant counter, counting the days and hours left to vote and the fateful announcement – will our Dead Sea become one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
The New 7 Wonders of Nature Campaign has reached its final stage. The Dead Sea is considered a leading candidate among the 28 remaining out of hundreds of contestants. The seven finalists will be announced on 11.11.11.
